The food manufacturing and processing industries can require huge amounts of water which, in turn, generates large quantities of wastewater. This wastewater can have high levels of Total Suspended Solids (TSS), Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD), Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) and Fats, Oils & Greases (FOG).
